Wind Tunnel Facilities

BMT operates two large in-house wind tunnel facilities dedicated to the testing of civil structures.

Our facilities are supported through state-of the art instrumentation and data acquisition systems to support comprehensive studies of steady and unsteady aerodynamic effects.

In particular these facilities support:

  • Boundary layer wind tunnel testing
  • Static and dynamic section model testing
  • Bluff body aerodynamic testing

  • Gas concentration sensors
  • Digital video recording / editing facilities
