BMT Fluid Mechanics Limited operates a number of wind tunnel facilities including a Racecar/Automotive wind tunnel.

This facility is used for a wide range of applications including:

  • Racecar aerodynamics
  • Automotive aerodynamics
  • Rail aerodynamics

The Racecar/Automotive wind tunnel was responsible for 110 Grand Prix Wins and 7 Constructor Championships for McLaren between 1982 and 2002.
