Test Facilities
A core resource of the Company is its access to modern physical model test facilities. The Company operates 3 major test facilities, which consist of a very large boundary layer wind tunnel, a short test section wind tunnel with a relatively high test speed used for section model tests of bridge decks and other 2-D structures, and a racecar/automotive wind tunnel. These facilities are supported by modern instrumentation for a wide range of measurement techniques and up-to-date data acquisition and processing hardware.

BMT Fluid Mechanics is a regular user of the various major hydrodynamic test facilities around the world, and selects the most appropriate basin depending on the requirements of the particular study.
